SKYN
SKYN is a sexual health and wellness company for consumers who choose to feel everything, in the bedroom and in life. The obstacle we often encountered with SKYN, given the category, was what would the media platforms allow us to show and say within our ads? We consistently had to ask ourselves “how do you demonstrate the product without demonstrating the product?” and “how do you create brand awareness with new-to-brand consumers without being able to say the core values of the brand?”. Our solution required that we create a stand-alone, iteration of the design strategy that SKYN used on their owned marketing touchpoints (i.e. brand website) without using any of the same copy or imagery. And typically this would feel like a disjointed consumer experience (landing a consumer on a site that felt different than the ad they clicked), however we bridged the gap by carefully curating copy, imagery and video that still drew from the same established brand guidelines but that would get approved by the media platforms. There was a fair bit of testing and below is a snippet of the results.
